What customers say?

“ We dined here recently and found it to be tasty, good service and a nice menu! We had the soup, salad, chicken (Shish Taouk) and tried the baklava cheesecake. All was good. We had seen a place in Morocco where the meat was cooked "underground", like they do here in their "Earth Oven". That is the last picture in this review. We will dine here again ”

“ This is a MUST STOP for food in Taos. Some of our quotes while eating: “This is bloody delicious” “Best meal I’ve had in a long time” “I’m going to be thinking about this meal for months” “Can’t stop eating” “Amazing flavours” My friend ordered the earth oven beef and I order the mushroom shawarma. Both were out of this world good. Friendly service and reasonable prices to boot. ”

“ We loved the entire atmosphere of this restaurant— very cohesive and welcoming. The garden is a wonderful touch. The menu was expansive with so many options that pair well with each other. Everything we tried tasted absolutely delicious! The service was also friendly and personable. We appreciated hearing the background on the cuisine and history of the restaurant. ”

“ I felt as though I was transported to an eatery in Lebanon. The food flavors were spectacular. I could smell the wood fire pine scent in the grilled meat as if I was enjoying a new fresh herb. Your palette will thank you. ”

“ This place was great for a casual lunch. The food was delicious, especially the cauliflower. The rolls were a bit too dry for me, but both the lamb and pork were great. We sat on the porch because it had a nice breeze. The smoke from the oven eventually bothered my eyes a little, so be aware if you’re sensitive to that kind of issue. ”

“ Delicious food and great service. Wait time was a little long for the food, but it's made fresh to order, so that was okay. Free parking spots in front of the restaurant. Lamb shawarma was tender and juicy. Mushroom shawarma was very flavorful. Each dish and side was very unique. Would recommend!! ”

“ We order the feast for 4 people and we got so much food. We have been 4 adults and 2 kids, but the food was amazing tasty, the service was amazing, the servers were very nice to accommodate us without reservations. I am not saying that is a rule, but they tried their best. We like the best the earth oven meat plate: beef and lamb, very good. We tried the shrimp plate as well, great choices. We are really happy with the choice of this restaurant ”

“ This place is absolutely phenomenal! We drove in from Ojo Caliente on our continued trip from Houston and found this place. We ordered the Lamb Shawarma and the hummus/baba ganoush etc plate and it was delicious. Perfectly seasoned and not overwhelming at all. I already want to go back and re-order their rice! It’s a bit chilly in there but tolerable. Ome was very attentive and friendly! ”
